Rom 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
Condemnation isn’t something we want. We are trying to avoid it in this life and the afterlife. Even if we have done something we deserve judgment, we still use various means to obfuscate the facts and dodge the scrutiny to avoid pain.
If there are rules it is hard not to break them, even if you are good and law abiding. If there is no law then there is no condemnation because you can’t violate something that doesn’t exist. Think about this in terms of life. Build a house 100 years ago it was fine. Build the same house now in the same way and you are a law breaker. No law, no condemnation.
You are this individual. Coming to faith exhibited in love, giving yourself to Jesus, living in his love you are no longer under condemnation.
